She designs jewellery, creates interiors and holds salons discussing art and music
at her Ming dynasty temple art gallery (Liu+deBiolleystudio)
in the heart of 
old Beijing.

Jehanne was born in Belgium where she started her career in the arts studying restoration of European oil paintings.

| She has lived, worked and studied in Brussels (1980-1985), London (1985-1997) and Beijing (since 1997).


|
Following her first trip to the far East where she traveled to Bali with a group of art collectors in 1980, she decided to dedicate her life to the study of Asian Art and culture.

| An entrepreneur at heart, she opened her first art gallery in London Mayfair dedicated to the Arts of Asia interacting with young creative talents for her exhibitions and came to China in 1991 till she settled there in 1997.

 

Jehanne’s Chinese name is 翠翠 (CuiCui)
It refers to kingfisher feather jewellery and the bright
green colour of jade.
